HeY, I’m Stacy, the designer and creator behind Set in Stone Floral

Born and raised in the U.K, I now live in the beautiful town of San Clemente California, with my husband, daughter and Goldendoodle Snoop

Currently I work as a freelance floral designer and a part time interior design assistant. I have always been a creative and take joy in making things and crafting

My love for flowers goes way back to my childhood years. I can thank my Nan for that. She would always have the most spectacular garden, overflowing with bright and bold blooms, her hanging baskets were the talk of the street. Every weekend she would be out there weeding, planting and watering to her heart's content. I admire and adore her, she was a big inspiration for my desire to work within the floral world.

We made a big move from the UK to New York 6 years ago, where my professional floral career began. I was lucky enough to intern and work with some extremely talented designers in the city. I worked on large scale weddings and events, being involved in the entire process from start to finish. From meeting with clients, early morning trips to the flower market, conditioning each stem, making centerpieces and bouquets, to delivering and setting up on site on the day of the event

It really is a labour of love and I know all about the hours (and expense) that goes into bringing the vision to life for someone’s special day. It always seemed so sad to me, that after all this, these flowers would just wilt away…and that’s why creating Set In Stone has always been a dream of mine so I can extend the life of these florals and make something beautiful and unique that people can treasure forever

I started pressing flowers and started off preserving flowers for friends and family and making various art for them as gifts. This growing hobby has now bloomed into a small business I run from home and although I’m just at the beginning of my journey, I feel so thankful to be able to do something I love and create sentimental handmade keepsakes for people to enjoy for years to come
